Robert Mansfield: House Portrait Master

Robert Mansfield grew up in Vetnor, NJ, and has had sea and sand running through his veins ever since. It's no accident that his commissions have run up and down the eastern seaboard. His love of bright light and bold skies have made even the most humble home appear grand and majestic.

Mansfield attended the University of Arts in Philadelphia during the 1950s. He moved to Mexico where his oil and pallet knife paintings of street scenes are full of life, color, and movement. Mansfield went on to work and paint in Europe where he met and married his Spanish bride. Over the years he supported his family as a self-employed graphic designer who supplied his own illustrations.

Eventually, upon "retiring" he picked up his brushes to paint full-time. Mansfield paints portraits of people, pets, boats, and houses in acrylics, oils, and watercolors. He has been specializing in watercolor house portraits, and has many happy clients. There is no obligation to buy unless you are completely satisfied, and he can "edit" your painting by removing telephone poles, or by adjusting trees and foliage in order to best feature your home.
